Surprise! I’m opening a cloth diaper store.

This has been a dream for me for over 3 years (ever since my son was born) and I realized how difficult it was to learn about cloth diapers without driving so
me distance.

This past June, with the end of my second maternity leave looming over me, I began to seriously consider the possibility of opening a retail store. I began to causally look for a store to rent.

And then…I met Meaghan. She and her husband, Kevin, were opening a children’s consignment shop called Little Bird on Ottawa Street. And a thought entered my head. I casually asked them about cloth diapers, and they were definitely interested in pursuing that as something to carry at Little Bird. The gears began to grind, and then I proposed a plan. A plan to partner together to better serve the Hamilton community. To provide a place to learn about (and hopefully purchase) cloth diapers. My dream became reality and re•diaper was born.

Here we are, less than one month from our Grand Opening. (The party is on October 17th, and you’re invited!) I have been excitedly communicating with diaper companies, setting up wholesale accounts and planning out orders. We are so excited about this venture and are looking forward to meeting all of you in the store!

Please come with all your curiosities about cloth diapers. I have over 3 years experience in using them, and am passionate about showing people how easy (and FUN) cloth diapering can be.

Cloth diapers have changed for the better, and they’re making a comeback!
